Mommy and Me Fridays!

Yay.. Sienna and I's first outdoor hike.. Yesturday we went on a little field trip to a nature center in Anaheim Hills.. i totally forget what it was called.. but it was super cool.. there was four of us mommys with all our offspring! Chelle and Jeremiah were there too! There was hardly anyone there.. so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.. it was really a nice nature center, with cool trails.. hiking reminded me of how out of shape i am.. thankfully there was another mom there who was as out of shape as i was.. so we just hung back and hiked our own pace and took in the scenery! Sienna Looooves being outside.. she just chilled in the baby carrier and took in the sites.. she was soo good!

pASADENA pLAYDATE!

Pasadena Playdate

So.. Tuesday, Sienna and I had the pleasure of sharing our noontime with our buddies Auntie Larissa and Shayla.. What a blast we had. First, we started by going to a very popular playground in south Pasadena, which was a blast for Shayla.. who spent most of the time running around pushing toys and clinbing in tunnels.. she is beyond cute,,and so much fun to interact with!! (i hardly got any pictures of her.. since she wasn't in one place for longer than a millisecond to take her pic.. plus the place was crowded like no other.. we forgot it was Veterans day!!) Sienna on the other hand just chilled in our laps.. enjoying the scenery.. she loves watching all the action!
Sienna LOOOVES her Auntie Larissa... LOOOVES HER!! You can tell by some of the pics how big her smile is.. and Larissa is so great with her.. she sings, and plays with her.. I'd look over and Sienna would be just laughing and talking, like she had something serious to share!!She obviously had soo much fun being sang to.. and being bounced and played with!! I need to learn some of her tunes.. although i am a horrible singer!!!
Then after playtime.. we all went next door and had lunch at this great mexican restaurant.. the kids actually had great behavior.. which was greeeat.. i think they where worn out from playtime.. which means Larissa and I got a great chance to catch up, and enjoy a fabulous lunch. Time spent with Lsrissa is always nice.. we don't get together nearly enough.. so when we do.. i soak it all in!

tRICK OR tREAT

Wow.. it's been a while..

I guess alot has happened since i last blogged..
First,(i'm gonna blog all the events seperatly.. since i have photos to attatch!) Our little family went to Monterey and Carmel for a great friend's wedding (Jenny Mc Cormick).. It was beautiful.. they got married in an amazing vineyard! We spent the weekend in Monterey.. We had such a great weekend.. in addition to the wedding.. we went to the Aquarium, walked Canery Row.. drove the 17 mile drive.. which was beautiful.. spent time with our little group.. Nancy and her boyfriend John, Jennifer Gutierrez and her husbang Jaime and our buddie Marisa, who went up with us to babysit Sienna while we went to the wedding. Sienna went to her first beach.. Pebble beach, and put her toes in the sand for the first time! She looves the outdoors! We drove home using PCH.. which was an amazingly gorgeous drive.. we got alot of beautiful pics.. which of course i'm gonna make a little slideshow right now to share :)

One of Siennas new favorite things to do is lay and sit on my big round excersise ball.. which is the same ball i used to help manage pain during my labor!

Day at the LA Fair

After lunch.. Paul, Mom, Sienna and I headed on down to the LA Fair.. it was hot at first, but then cooled down to a nice temp when the sun went down.. We all had so much fun.. great food.. and fun shopping! awww.. Sienna's first fair!

Margaritas and Breastmilk

Mom and I started the day at the Salon.. getting our hair done with Amanda,, lover her! Then Paul picked us up, and we went to lunch at El Cholo's in Whittier.. supper yummmmy! (Chelle, you gotta take Kyle, and get him the yellow corn/chili tamale, supper yummy, the corn masa is sweet like the sweet corn dish he likes, i loved it!)
P.S. the margarita wasn't mine.. i just thought it would make a fun picture to put in Sienna's book.. "Mom drinking a margarita while feeding Sienna"!!

gIRLS NIGHT OUT!!

Man.. it was soooo nice to get out! Amy and I went to dinner and dancing, we went to Montanas in San Dimas.. back to our roots!! We had an absolute blast.. we closed the place down, getting home at 2:30 in the morning!! (this is where i thank Paul for being the great husband he is, and taking care of little Sienna while Mom got out and got her groove on!!)

Day at the park

This was Sienna's first trip to the park... she loved it! She just chilled and laid around.. i think she liked the cool breeze, the fresh air, and all the attention!! It was a beautiful day.. and i'm so glad we got to enjoy it outdoors.
